Need a responsible and caring person to look after your pets? You’re in the right place! I’ve always been an animal owner and love all animals, big and small. Put my experience to the test and let me take care of your precious pet.
I’ve been grooming for 15+ years and love what I do. My philosophy is that dogs need to be taught what we expect from them. Holding them down or kenneling them for hours to get a groom finished is not a pleasurable experience for them. Most dogs hate grooming due to these practices. To avoid this type of relationship with you and your pet we provide one on one, straight through grooming. We do not kennel and we do not work on dogs simultaneously. We will not “force” any part of the groom as this leads to an unsafe & highly stressful hostile environment. Instead we take our time, allow breaks if necessary and skip services that pup is not ready for until we can get them there. All we ask is that you complete small, short tasks with your dog at home to support and help the desensitizing process. This small amount of extra time with your pup will assist us in getting them to where they need to be for a complete, stress free groom session. This is an important skill they need in their toolbox. Grooming is necessary to maintain the health, daily comfort and well being of your pup.

Regardless of your pet’s breed, age or behavior, each of my services can be curated to fit their specific needs — no matter how unique. My Haircut service is one of my specialties and is often booked well in advance. I enjoy making pups cute. More than bringing out their adorable I thrive off of rehabilitating pups to accept grooming in a stress free environment by providing one on one care. This eliminates a portion of the stress experienced in salons with multiple dogs kenneled and several groomers working on several dogs simultaneously. We groom fur baby straight through. We never kennel and we do not work on dogs simultaneously unless they are from the same household.

My Grooming service allows you to make sure your pet is well taken care of, even when you’re not around. I offer this for all sizes and breeds. Reserve my time and relax knowing your pet is in the best possible hands.
All grooms include the following:
* Ears plucked & cleaned
* Nails trimmed & grinded
(if fur baby takes to grinder)
*Teeth brushed with a gel paste that assists in breaking up tarter, followed by a bacteria rinse
* 2 shampoos
(type depends on the needs of the skin & coat)
* re moisturizing treatment
* complete brush out & fluff dry
* haircut/undercoat removal
* cologne spray/bows or bandana
No extra charges for products. We believe a groom should include all of the supplies necessary to complete a proper groom. The only extra charges we have are for ****extreme behavior & **** severe matting. These are things that can be maintained at home and prevent us from serving the most fur babies possible. Therefor we find it necessary to charge for the additional time slots.
We also provide a hydrotherapy service that is not a requirement of grooming. I trained and purchased this system several years ago due to the many skin condition cases I experienced. It provides some immediate relief for fur babies with inflamed and irritated skin and aids in healing the skin faster than just administering medication. You begin to see results after the first session which just continue to improve each week for the 4 weeks of treatment. This service is an additional cost as the system and tablets are a high cost for us.
Deshedding
The Best for Your Pet
ALL double coated breeds require de-shedding. This is a technique that rids the pup of the dead undercoat hair to allow their skin and guard coat to perform at optimal levels. This protects them from the elements, prevents expensive, uncomfortable skin infections like yeast & hot spots, & keeps them comfortable and happy. I cannot count how many times I’ve heard “he’s like himself again” “he’s a brand new dog” “he’s acting like a puppy again” 15 years later and I still smile & feel fuzzy inside when I hear this feedback from pet owners. ALL double coated breeds require de shed service. Yes! Even short haired doggos. Different breeds (short hair opposed to long hair, husky opposed to golden retriever) are best to get de-shedded at different intervals (monthly, 3 months, 4 months etc) dependent on their hair type and growth. At Grooming At Home we will discuss your goals for you and your pet, breed recommendations and work with you to come up with an interval that is acceptable for everyone’s needs and budget. At the minimum, all breeds should get a de-shed, for health reasons (skin infections, surviving the elements & daily comfort) at least twice a year. Please inquire about our unique de-shed service & the difference you’ll see in your pup and cleaning routine!

Christine is so special. I’ve been meaning to write this review for over a year. She took such good, loving care of our 15yr old poodle for her last grooming. So much so that she fell asleep in Christine’s arms. She made our Chloe look so cute and good care of her. We are so thankful. It was Chloe’s last time getting dolled up before we had to say goodbye to her a few months later. I will forever be grateful for how Christine served us in such a special way. 5 stars

Christine and Joe were amazing with Ruger. He is not a fan of new places and is definitely a momma’s boy so new people doing things to him make him very uncomfortable BUT Christine slowly worked with him and gained his trust and by the end of our visit, they were even friends.

Where do I even begin. Christine is an absolute amazing groomer. I have tried many groomers for my fur baby and have found the one. My Shih Poo Fiona instantly clicked clicked with her. She even was gracious enough to text me once Fiona was bathed to give me options on how I would like her hair cut. On top of that she gave me some great recommendations to keep her skin and hair healthy. I have never had a groomer go above and beyond like she did. I look forward to keep using her for my fur babies upkeep. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great groomer.
